Yama Shansab is the author of the Virginia Fiduciary Law Blog. 

Yama is a principal at Walton & Adams, P.C., in Reston, Virginia.  Yama grew up in Fairfax County and has appeared in courts throughout the Commonwealth and in the District of Columbia.  He handles business torts and fiduciary duty claims; contract cases; fiduciary and probate cases involving trustees, executors and beneficiaries, as well as will contests; federal civil tax litigation; employment defense; and real estate litigation, including landlord-tenant  cases, partition actions, boundary line disputes, real estate tax assessment appeals, and eminent domain. On the transactional side, Yama practices automotive law, estate planning, probate, and trust law and advises businesses and their key personnel in entity formation, contract drafting and negotiation, and the sale and acquisition of business interests.
